Buzzing the air strip with an AT-6 "Texan"
| Description: | This particular plane was being flown by the WWII recalled Air Force Capt Mariconda. He was a neat guy on temp duty here with G-3 Air. He went somewhere to pick up this plane so he could keep his flight status and blessed us with a good buzz job. During the course of the day he also buzzed down some tele lines. When he returned to G-3 on foot the next day he received a light repremand from Arty Commanding General Thomas Lewis for disrupting communications.
The picture is shot to the southwest showing the mountains across the river where the British and Belgians had deadly "battles of the Imjin".
